Lateness policy:

We schedule 20-minute appointments. If you are more than 5 minutes late for you appointment, it will be considered a missed appointment.  You will need to reschedule, unless you have met the "3 Strikes" rule. (See cancellation policy below.)

Cancellation policy:

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please contact us at least 4 hours in advance so that we can reschedule someone into that slot.  We reserve the right to charge full price for missed appointments, or those cancelled without 4 hours notice.  We have a "3 Strikes" rule:  If you fail to show up three times for an appointment or cancel too late for us to fill the slot, you will be dropped as a client. No future appointments will be scheduled for you.

Haircut for teenagers policy:

Both Allen and Andy are professional educators by profession and we treat teenagers as young men.  Therefore, a boy 13 years old and older is considered the "client," and we will follow his directions for his haircut, regardless of who pays for the haircut.  We do not inflict unwanted haircuts on teenagers, dictated by their parents. If you do not agree with this policy, please choose another barbershop.  We will not be offended.

Wife approval policy:

If you feel compelled to tell me that your wife does not/did not like your last haircut, or to tell me that your wife wants "this or that" for your haircut, there will be an additional charge of $15 dollars.  Also, you will not be scheduled for future appointments, so that your wife, who is obviously a haircut expert, can cut your hair instead!
